Megan Young ’13, Clifton P. Mayfield ’09 Outstanding Young Alumni Award
The Clifton P. Mayfield ‘09 Outstanding Young Alumni Award is presented to a member of one of the fifteen most recent graduating classes in recognition of outstanding service to the College or to the Alumni Association.
Wynne Whitman ’86, George T. Woodring 1919 Service Award
The George T. Woodring 1919 Service Award recognizes the achievements of a long-term Alumni Association volunteer whose service is both dedicated and effective.
Sammy Chavin-Grant ’16, George T. Woodring 1919 Volunteer of the Year Award
The George T. Woodring 1919 Volunteer of the Year award recognizes an Alumni Association volunteer for outstanding leadership during the previous year.
Kathleen Squires ’88, Alumni Association Special Commendation
The Alumni Association Special Commendation is awarded periodically to honor a member or members of the Lafayette community illustrating loyal commitment in supporting the goals of the College and Alumni Association.
Daniel L. Golden ’34 Faculty Service Award
The Daniel L. Golden Award recognizes faculty members for distinguished volunteer service to Lafayette College through the Lafayette College Alumni Association and its organized alumni activities. One purpose of the award is “to stimulate interest beyond the classroom among members of the faculty to serve the College through its Alumni engagement program.”
LAFAYETTE COLLEGE FUND AWARD:
This award honors the non-reunion class that achieved the highest Lafayette College Fund giving total for FY24. The Class of 1988 rallied together to raise $373,158. Congratulations and thank you!
The ROBERT WHITMER, Class of 1885, AWARD:
This award honors the young alumni class that achieved the highest percentage of participation in FY24 and we’re pleased to recognize this year’s winning class, the Class of 2016.
The JULIUS NAAB, Class of 1919, AWARD:
This award honors the 50-Plus Reunion class with the highest rate of participation in FY24 and we are honored to recognize the Class of 1957 with an astounding 53.95%.
The JOSEPH T. LOSEE ’94 AWARD:
This award honors the reunion year class that achieved the highest Lafayette College Fund giving total for FY24. Led by a terrific group of class leaders, the Class of 1984 raised $291,231 for the Lafayette College Fund. Congratulations and thank you!
The ERNEST G. SMITH ’94 AWARD:
This award honors the class achieving the highest percentage of participation from the 11th through the 50th alumni class in FY24 and we are honored to recognize the Class of 1974 with a total class giving percentage of 49.45%.

ALUMNI ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVE AWARDS
BARRY MCCARTY AAR OF THE YEAR AWARD:
Recognizes an individual who, during the past year, has represented the College through the AAR program with outstanding dedication, reliability and sensitivity; he or she has creatively and effectively introduced the “Spirit of Lafayette” to prospective students, their parents, and others interested in the College. This award is named after Barry W. McCarty, former dean of enrollment services.

WILLIAM G. WILSON DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD:
This is the highest honor that can be bestowed for service to Lafayette through the AAR program. The recipient will have served with sustained distinction, effectively performing all expected duties during a period of several years or more. In addition, they will have demonstrated initiative and creativity, and will have inspired others through leadership and example.
